By accessing or using TeXify (texifyai.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our service.
TeXify is an AI-powered SaaS tool that converts documents (PDF, Word, Excel, images) to LaTeX, provides a LaTeX editor and fixer, generates academic templates, and creates AI-powered course materials. We offer a free plan with limited usage and paid Pro and University plans.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

TeXify offers the following plans:
Payments are processed by Polar.sh. Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We offer a 7-day refund policy for first-time Pro subscribers. If you are not satisfied with TeXify within your first 7 days, contact us at hello@texifyai.app for a full refund. Refunds are not available after 7 days or for subsequent billing cycles.
The LaTeX output generated by TeXify from your documents belongs to you. You retain full ownership of your input files and generated output. TeXify retains ownership of its software, interface, and underlying technology.
TeXify uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to process and convert your documents. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated LaTeX may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all output before use in academic or professional submissions.
Our collection and use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeXify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or errors in AI-generated content.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TeXify after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
These Terms are governed by internationally recognized principles of commercial law. For users in the European Union, applicable EU consumer protection laws apply. For users in the United States, applicable federal and state laws apply. We aim to resolve all disputes amicably — please contact us at hello@texifyai.app before initiating any formal proceedings.
